Regularly Held Special Events

Regularly Held Special Events:

In addition to our regularly scheduled programming, as well as our irregularly spontaneous programming, CHIRS co-ordinates a multitude of special events throughout the year.  Some of these special events have become annually-recurring staples of the seasons.

Spring Fling:
Spring comes every year, and we make a big deal of it.  Finally warm enough to dance outside,

Annual B.I.S.T. Run
Participation is open to everyone.

CHIRS Annual Holiday Party
Speeches, Santa, presents, music, dancing.  Need more?

CHIRS Annual Summer Picnic
Usually themed with something quirky, we order the best of weather, and we entertain the outdoors with things like jugglers, food, and fun for all.

Recreation Island
Hiking, camping, rock climbing, archery, and every outdoor activity imaginable.

Annual St. Patricks Day Walk/Run/Roll
The walk is for people with disabilities to raise funds for their own organization.

Watch here as more of our special events become routinely special!
