Adult Day Services:

Mentor Program

The mentors are a group of clients who volunteer their time to take a leadership role in shaping the CHIRS community. They run our drop in, facilitate their own programs, prepare a daily lunch that is sold at the club, help our day program staff with their recreation programs and help with the planning and execution of many of our special events. Clients who enter the mentor program are provided with a mentor orientation training and meet with the Mentor Coordinator on a regular basis where they discuss their progress and create goals. The mentor program is an opportunity for clients to give back to CHIRS, show leadership and work on their own personal growth.
